- Seat price varies based on fare family, seat location (Window/Middle/Aisle), RBD, flight number, time of purchase, departure date, loyalty program tier (Miles & Bonus) and aircraft type.
- Seats are free of charge for Business Class.
- For passengers with Flex and/or Family fare tickets the option of choosing a standard seat is free of charge (subject to availability).
- For passengers with Comfort Flex tickets there is the option of choosing a standard or an upfront seat free of charge (subject to availability).

Specifically for EXIT rows, passengers are not permitted to sit in EXIT rows seats, if:
- They are under 15 years old.
- They have problems with mobility, strength or dexterity in arms/hands and/or legs and they are unable to reach the emergency exit, manage instructions for evacuating or exit as quickly as possible.
- They are unable to understand crew instructions
- They have impaired vision or hearing and, as such, cannot follow instructions from the crew
- They are unable to relay information verbally to other passengers
- They are responsible for someone else, such as infants or young children, which may prevent them from following instructions
- They suffer from a condition that may cause them harm if they execute one or more of the safety instructions
- They require a seatbelt extension
- They use a wheelchair or other mobility aid
- They use supplementary oxygen or a portable oxygen concentrator
- They are travelling with a service animal or pet.

- In case of a voluntary flight change, the original seat is automatically cancelled.
- A new seat may be booked, subject to seat availability.
- If the same seat category is not found, then the voluntary change policy as per table above must be followed.
- If the flight is voluntarily cancelled and no rebooking takes place, the seat EMD is not reusable for future flights.
Involuntary seat change
Involuntary seat changes may occur due to:
- Seat map changes. No change on the flight, route, date. Examples: business class curtain is moved, aircraft type is changed etc.
- Flight changes (flight cancellation, schedule change, rerouting etc.)
- Both of the above
In all cases, an automated reseating process is initiated to reprotect seats. Reseating is based on the following mandatory seat characteristics:
- Same cabin
- Same seat category
- Same seat characteristics (window, aisle, middle seat)
If the automated process does not assign a new seat, the seat SSR is cancelled (UN status). This case is a subject to an involuntary refund.
On customer request, the offline assignment of a new seat is allowed within the same category even if there are different seat characteristics.
If a different seat category is requested, then the voluntary seat change policy applies.
